EU Compliance & Data Protection
minia2a operates from AWS Ireland (eu-west-1). All data stays in the EU. Our architecture is designed for compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act, and MiCA — not as an afterthought, but as a foundation.
Data Residency
AWS Ireland (eu-west-1) — all server infrastructure, databases, and logs reside in Dublin.
No US data transfer — agent API calls are processed entirely within EU borders.
No personal data by design — minia2a processes wallet addresses and API call metadata. No names, emails, IPs, or KYC data required.
EU AI Act Readiness
Article 50 — Transparency Effective August 2, 2026. minia2a is an infrastructure layer, not an AI system that interacts with end users. Our x402 protocol provides an immutable on-chain audit trail for every agent payment — exceeding Art.50 requirements.
Article 14 — Human Oversight Enforcement begins December 2027. The x402 authorization envelope (spending limits, policy boundaries) provides programmable guardrails for agent autonomy — a built-in compliance primitive.
GDPR Compliance
Data minimization — we collect only what is needed: wallet addresses, service metadata, API call logs. No cookies, no tracking, no profiles.
Right to access / Right to erasure — agents and service providers can request their data at [email protected]. Response within 30 days.
No automated decision-making — minia2a does not profile, score, or make decisions about individuals.
DPA available — Data Processing Agreement for enterprise customers and service providers. Request at [email protected].
MiCA & Crypto Regulation
minia2a does not custody funds, execute payments, or issue tokens. The x402 protocol handles payment settlement directly between agents and service providers on-chain. minia2a is a discovery and routing layer — not a financial intermediary. As such, MiCA licensing requirements do not apply to our core operations.
x402 Audit Trail
Every agent payment via x402 produces:
On-chain settlement record (Base, Solana, Polygon, XRPL — verifiable by anyone)
HTTP 402 challenge/response with cryptographic signature verification
Facilitator settlement logs with transaction hashes
This triple record — protocol challenge, signature proof, chain settlement — provides stronger auditability than traditional payment rails. Regulators, auditors, and compliance officers can verify agent payments independently without access to minia2a infrastructure.
Why This Matters for Agents
European enterprises deploying AI agents need compliance guarantees. minia2a provides EU data residency, GDPR-ready design, and x402 audit trails — so your agent can operate in regulated environments without legal risk.
